This tiny painting is a close study of rocks and sea glass on the East coast...one of my favourite things to do as a child, and with my own children, was to comb the beach in our home town looking for these tiny treasures of the sea.

This candy certainly takes me back! When I was a child, you could only find this candy bar in Newfoundland, so the only time I could have it was when I went home for the summer...even now, I come back with a pile of them in my suitcase. This candy bar showed up in a few other dailies lately (soon to be posted)...I guess I am feeling a little bit nostalgic these days.

This little painting was a welcome break after a year of painting grain elevators! I loved having the time to just push paint around again! My daughter put together this little bouquet - the vase itself is only about three inches tall. I couldn't resist painting it.
