I have been trying to take the odd break from the grain elevator series to work on a few dailies...and the lilacs are irresistable! This is the first lilac painting this season, and I am looking forward to them all fully blooming so I can try my hand at a few more. I loved painting the rich purples of this little sprig of blossoms!
I too love lilacs in the spring. You've done a great job depicting all those little blooms!
